Our Aims

Our mission is to create a generation of talented, educated scholars. Scholars who understand the Islamic way of life from its most authentic sources in accordance with Islam’s own intellectual heritage; whilst reflecting the atmosphere and society they are from with a high level of awareness and appropriate academic knowledge so they may thereby benefit the local community and enrich the wider society that we are in.

In common with all Muslims, our aim is to live our lives in accordance with the wishes of Allah.

Our hope is that, by providing high quality Islamic and National Curriculum education for the Muslim community, in accordance with the Noble Qur’an and Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet (saw), we will ultimately produce students who practice ISLAM and serve the Deen of ALLAH. Our purpose is to produce great scholars and Huffaz to preserve and transmit the eternal message of Allah.

The institution helps children to explore and develop their Islamic identity as a natural part of their mental, emotional and personal development. The school aims to prepare Muslim students to be good Muslims and responsible citizens; to embed in the student a sense of discipline; to enable them to grow up to become upright, respectable and worthy citizens of their respective countries.

On offer is an extensive Islamic syllabus: Arabic and Urdu along with the National Curriculum subjects of English, Mathematics, Information and Communication Technology, Humanities and Science up to G.C.S.E and AS level, London Board of Examination (EDEXCEL). Our high quality Islamic Education, providing training to a degree level standard, is run alongside provision for sound academic, secular education in line with the National Curriculum.

Premises

The school is a purpose built Madrasa, Masjid and hostel constructed in 2013. Its premises comprise 130 modern boarding rooms in addition to classrooms, dining hall, assembly hall, prayer hall, gym, playing fields and car parking with 100 spaces. The total area of the building is 10 acres. All the 130 modern rooms have standard facilities including cupboards and drawers, full carpeting, bed linen and mattresses. Each room is shared by two boys.

An extension was built in 20014 consisting of 18 classrooms, science laboratory, prayer hall and wudhu (ablution) facilities.

Islamic Ethos

The Islamic ethos of the school is of the utmost importance. In order to promote the Islamic ethos, FRMS Academy School places strong emphasis on Islamic manners, behaviour, punctuality, Islamic dress code, mutual respect for fellow pupils and utmost respect for staff and parents. FRMS Academy Muslim School provides higher Islamic education alongside the majority of subjects from the National Curriculum.

Our hope is that our students will become imams and religious leaders in the future, serving the Muslim community in the Bangladesh, and making a positive contribution towards social cohesion in our multi-cultural society.
